Hi
Welcome to our family history web page. My tree is posted on Ancestry at the following address: http://trees.ancestry.com.au/tree/54549182/
but you may need a subscription to see it; often your local library will offer a free subscription so you can check it all out.
And I now have a searchable tree on Tribal Pages too:
http://heyeslewis.tribalpages.com/tribe/browse?userid=heyeslewis
The ancestor files are .pdf documents; one day I'll work out how to put in all the hyperlinks so you can search properly... there's one for each of our grandparents.
We're particularly keen to gather anecdotes that will round out our understanding of these people who are responsible for us being here. If you are a relative or a friend of a relative, please feel free to make contact. I've had to remove contact form on this page as it had become a target for spam; but the other named sites will lead you to me...
I'm also keen to keep extending this tree back in time. I calculate that some 65,000 individuals had to meet, marry and have children in the early 1500s in order for us to be alive today; but we know only five of them... So: if you think you can help, please let us know.
And a disclaimer: there is a mixture here of well-researched, evidence-based links; and others which are more speculative. The notes generally indicate where the links are dubious; but it is best to treat all links as 'not proven' and check for yourself...
And if you are interested: I also have a site for a bit of creativity: poems, stories and photos: http://julianheyes.weebly.com/
